Storm just hit Oswego?

Treat every downed line as live: 911 or ComEd 1-800-334-7661. Parkway tree down? Village Public Works, 630-554-3242. Boulder Hill: Oswego Township, 630-264-4587. Your own tree: request a crew.

Tree by the curb?

The Village of Oswego owns the parkway trees, the ones between the curb and the sidewalk. Its arborists inspect them, and the Village removes them at no charge. Call Public Works at 630-554-3242 (Village of Oswego).

Tree in your yard?

That one's yours. The Village says its crews don't trim or remove privately owned trees; that's done at the owner's expense (same page). That's where a private crew comes in.

A year earlier, on July 16, 2025, storm reports included a 15-inch branch snapped in Oswego and trees blocking a road (NWS). Want the full rundown? See storm cleanup.
